Hey, I'm Rick.
Since 2012, I've been working as a computer technician before getting into the IT sector in 2016.
You may have noticed the tech industry going downhill, making things of lower quality and unrepairable. The fact is, big companies make very little money if you buy something that lasts forever, so they intentionally make products that don't last very long. And if you go to a big box store looking for something, you get bombarded with too many options that are ultimately the same junk.
When I met my spouse, she got overcharged at a local repair shop that didn't properly repair her computer despite paying hundreds of dollars for what was a simple repair. I felt bad finding this out and fixed it properly pro bono.
So now you're stuck with bad shopping options and shady repair shops. What do you do?
Well, this site/project is my attempt to make things better. I started this as a side gig to provide honest and local tech services to the community I reside in. As this is more of a startup, I don't have a store location and work out of my garage.
I also occasionally post videos on my Youtube channel of the work I do. Link is below in the page footer.
